How would you like to discover the Arctic summer with a all terrain bike “Fatbike” and see the awe-inspiring landscapes of the Torngat Mountains with snow-capped peaks and herds of caribou?

The arctic summer in the far north is brief and breathtakingly beautiful to discover. This is where Canada’s highest mountain range east of the Rockies is found, and several spectacular fjords that run deep inland. It is also the region where caribou, snowy owls, ptarmigan and arctic foxes live.

[There are few Arctic regions where it is possible to ride an all-terrain bike without any man-made roads…]

At this latitude north of the 57th parallel there are no trees, it is the arctic tundra that dominates the landscapes.

There are few Arctic regions where it is possible to ride an all-terrain bike without any man-made roads and yet on the Golden Peninsula there are some beautiful places that are perfect for cycling.

With a fatbike with oversized 12 cm / 4.8 inch wide tires you can ride with ease on pebble, sand, gravel shores and through snowy moors.

What makes mountain biking enthusiasts happy in the Arctic region is above all the opportunity to ride eskers which undulate through the tundra, to go through real moraine deserts and to pedal on summits planed by the glaciers while discovering the fauna and the most beautiful landscapes.

This trip is an incredible experience for those who want to discover remote places of the Quebec-Labrador Peninsula by bike with a variety of landscapes in an environment untouched by all human activity.

We ride where no one has ever been, quietly. A little corner of cycling paradise, in the arctic region.
