When to go on a photo safari in Arctic Quebec and Arctic Labrador? That's a good question! The criteria are numerous and the success of your safari depends mainly on the date of your trip depending on what you really want to see.

If you are looking for a very complete safari with a diversity targeting the essentials of the most beautiful natural sites with incredible animal encounters on the Golden Peninsula, then you must target the period when the tundra comes to life after the long Arctic winter.

You should target the first three weeks of July. During this early Arctic summer period, the days are long and the cool temperatures allow us to capture interesting wildlife behavior.

This is the perfect time to see polar bears strolling by the sea, caribou with their young on the bare highlands of the tundra, wolf cubs at the exit of the dens, the nesting of birds, the blooming of arctic flowers, waterfalls that flow from the top of the cliffs and icebergs along the coasts of Ungava and Labrador.

We have one vacation package available during the week of July 16-23, 2020
