The Wonders of the Golden Peninsula and Northern Lights

The Wonders of the Golden Peninsula and Northern Lights

Discover the must-see places of the Golden Peninsula with this 8 day / 7 night guided tour. If you are looking for a tailor-made tour for small groups, this trip is for you. Along with your guide, you will crisscross the Québec-Labrador peninsula aboard a floatplane and helicopter to discover nature in its purest form, as well as the most beautiful landscapes in a region still unknown to mass tourism. On this tour, an experienced local naturalist guide and a well-known professional wildlife photographer from France, will guide you through the most remarkable places within the Golden Peninsula, including the tumultuous landscapes of the Torngat Mountain Range and the wonders of the Labrador Coast. You will also visit the Merewether Crater, Hebron Gorge, Secret Garden of Monoliths, Moraine Desert Valley and several impressive waterfalls.

To make this trip even more extraordinary, you have the opportunity to enhance each day with different adventures that we offer at a reduced price if they are reserved at the same time as your package, such as a fat bike ride through an ancient glacial valley in the Torngat Mountains, a gentle river descent into a fjord, or a seaside excursion in search of polar bears. In the evening, you will stay in well-appointed, private rooms including private bathrooms. Furthermore, during this time of year, the nights in Arctic Quebec and Labrador become longer and longer and when the weather cooperates, it is common to see exceptional displays of Northern Lights on clear evenings. Do not miss the opportunity for a night excursion to admire this spectacular natural phenomenon!

With this package, you will also receive a complimentary helicopter ticket to visit Dry Canyon, where few tourists have had the chance to visit. The most appreciated aspect of our guided tours is that you are always in the professional care of your guides and the Golden Peninsula team, who will ensure your safety and success in discovering the best of what the region has to offer, without having the worry of organization. Once your package is reserved, we will prepare your trip details and send you your travel documents by email.
