Join this guided day trip to discover the Golden Peninsula and the Labrador coast including a visit to a fjord, a seaside hike and wildlife observation.

This excursion is ideal for travelers looking for an exceptional Arctic experience in one day. During this guided outing in small groups, you discover the essential sites of the Golden Peninsula, such as the largest freshwater fjord in Labrador – Hebron Fjord Lake, but also the coast of Labrador up to the Iceberg Alley. You explore the Arctic tundra biome, as well as Merewether crater and the intensely colored Kettle lakes.

As you follow the coast of Labrador, you will fly over icebergs of all shapes, islands marked by the collision of continents and a mysterious ghost town. Sometimes you even see whales, seals, and polar bears between the icebergs.

To the program for the 2024 Special Edition, we have added a stop on a lake above a fjord which seems to overlook the ocean thanks to an optical illusion. This rare and magnificent spectacle will leave you speechless!

You can also spice up this trip by adding an overnight bivouac in a tent in the Torngat Mountains. The next day, you will visit one of Labrador's great hidden treasures – the Secret Garden of Monoliths.

Don't forget your camera, this float plane tour in the Torngat is one of the most beautiful day trips in Arctic Quebec-Labrador. Whether you are with family, couples, friends or lovers, your experience will be memorable.
