The Kettles are glacial lakes with striking contrasts, they are among the most colorful lakes in the Torngats Mountains. Located in a strange area of morainic hills with ice cores, the Kettles are affected by thermo-erosion.
From the air the show is simply breathtaking! You can see apocalyptic landscapes of land subsidence, gaping chasms, and mysterious craters with colored waters.
Very few places on the Quebec-Labrador Peninsula will allow you to appreciate such a colorful geological phenomenon.
