COVID-19 UPDATE – June 9th, 2020

Written by Amanda Kat

Dear clients and friends,

It is with great disappointment that we announce the closure of Wedge Hills Lodge for the 2020 season.

Although the government of Quebec has given us the green light to operate our lodge with sanitary restrictions that we had intended to implement, the Nunavik Health Committee and N-REPAC, (Nunavik Regional Preparedness Planning Committee) is not permitting travel to the region until an unknown later date.

Given the extensive advanced planning necessary to organize transportation, supplies, guides etc., in order to provide clients with quality vacations in such a remote area, we cannot postpone the opening of our lodge any longer, and are therefore forced to close for the 2020 season.

All reservations that were scheduled for 2020 have now been postponed until 2021.  Our website will be updated soon with the new dates for 2021 tours and fishing trips.

We anticipate having an excellent 2021 season!  Until then, rest assured that we will continue taking reservations, answering your questions and keeping you informed of any new developments.

Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions.
