This package is designed for adventurers who want to experience an exploratory trip to test a selection of remote rivers along the Labrador coast for Arctic char and brook trout, as well as enjoy brook trout and lake trout fishing on the George River from Wedge Hills Lodge (also a very good possibility of intercepting the first run of the season of Atlantic salmon on the George River!)

With this package you have the opportunity to experience fishing for all of aggressive northern fish species that the region has to offer!

Species: Arctic char, sea-run brook trout, freshwater brook trout, lake trout, black salmon, and a possibility of Atlantic salmon

Equipment: spin cast and fly fishing equipment permitted

  • 6 days of fishing at different locations (4 days in Labrador + 2 days on the George River)

Day 1

  • Departure at approximately 8:00 am from Montreal
  • Arrival at the lodge around noon and settle into your room
  • Lunch at 12:30
  • Meet with your guide

Days 2-5:

Fly out by floatplane to the bivouac camp in Labrador to fish for arctic char and brook trout (the days with the best weather will be selected to fly to 3 different rivers on the coast a few miles from the bivouac)

Days 6-7:

Fishing at various locations on the George River for brook trout, lake trout and Atlantic salmon

Day 8

  • Breakfast
  • Packing and vacating room
  • Departure from Wedge Hills Lodge to Montreal at approximately 1:00
